Horn Bar Walking Street Pattaya

You will find the Horn Bar Pattaya about half way down Walking Street if coming from the Beach road end of Walking Street. Keep an eye out for the huge overhanging sign on Walking Street pointing left towards Happy a Go Go, the Horn Bar is right next door. Although the Horn Bar appears a lot like many of the other beers bars around Pattaya and Walking Street it is distinguished by a giant horn that is activated by pulling a thick rope hanging alongside the bar counter. When ever anyone pulls the horn that person shouts all the patrons a drink of their own choice.

The first time I heard the blasting siren sound of the horn at the Horn Bar Pattaya I wondered what was happening and but once I walked over to the bar I realized it was not a warning the place was on fire but a chance for happy drinkers to buy a round of drinks for all those enjoying themselves at the bar. I hung around for a while and had a fabulous night.

The Horn Bar Pattaya is almost always filled a great mix of Aussies, English, American and numerous other nationalities of local expats and tourists every night of the week. I was suprized at just how often generous or perhaps slightly drunk individuals love to pull on the Horn and buy everyone a drink. It seems pulling on the horn at the Horn Bar Pattaya gets very contagious since once it gets pulled the first time it seems to be going off for the rest of the night and the siren sound always seems to attract other party goers who are curious to find out what the siren is all about.

Of course there are hundreds of bars in the Pattaya area but the Horn Bar Pattaya is unique with its high pitched siren sounding horn and just one of those places that you will never have any trouble finding someone to have a chat with or just have fun hanging out with a bunch of local expats who are always warm and welcoming to anyone who wants to have a drink or try swinging on the blast horn for a bit of fun. Also, ever time you buy a beer you get a chance to win a free beer if you can throw your beer bottle cap into a hanging cage that also activates the horn. It is not a trick and many people often win themselves a free beer, come on and check it out, you will have a blasting good time.
