Wong Amat Beach Pattaya is a beautiful and quiet stretch of beach just to the north of busy Pattaya Beach. What makes Wong Amat Beach Pattaya stand out from all the other beaches in the Pattaya area is the fact that it is rarely ever crowded all year round yet Pattaya Beach just around the corner is the complete opposite and is crowed every month of the year. Wong Amat Beach has a fantastic and uninterrupted view of the island of Koh Larn off the Pattaya coast and is home to some luxurious new and existing condominium developments.
The sandy stretch of beach at Wong Amat Beach Pattaya runs for just under a kilometer with the water looking noticeably cleaner than the sometimes brown and dirty looking water of neighboring Pattaya Beach. Wong Amat Beach is the ideal beach in Pattaya for families and children or anyone who likes to escape the crowded beaches of this eastern waterfront city.
Wong Amat Beach Pattaya is home to 3 of the biggest and tallest residential condominium developments in the Pattaya area. If you are traveling from Pattaya and passing the Dolphin roundabout at the end of Second Road, head straight onto Naklua Road and take a left turn at Soi 18. Follow Soi 18 to the end and you have to turn right. This road runs parallel to the beach and is where you will find the tallest condominium in Pattaya. The first of these 3 massive gothic looking towers is called Sky Beach Condominium. Sky Beach Condo is a monstrous tower with a vast lobby area underneath. From the lobby you can look up through the tower up into the sky. Sky Beach Condo is starting to show its age but it is still a magnificent structure.
Next door to the Sky Beach Condo Pattaya is a new development just about to get started called North Point Pattaya. The North Point Pattaya complex will be two distinct shaped luxury towers on the absolute waterfront of Wong Amat Beach. Construction has not began yet but the show rooms and advertising material show that the completed development of North Point Pattaya looks very up market indeed.
Continuing past the new North Point Pattaya condo development and around the corner we come to another tower very similar in size and shape to the Sky Beach condo, this is another gothic looking tower and is called Park Beach Condo at Wong Amat Beach. The Park Beach Condo is just slightly shorter in height to Sky Beach Condo but has equally impressive facilities for residents.
A little bit further along past Park Beach Condo Pattaya is the third giant gothic tower called Silver Beach Condo at Wong Amat Beach in Pattaya. Silver Beach Condo is just slightly smaller than the Park Beach Condo but is also a high end luxury residential apartment block.
At the northern end of Wong Amat Beach there is a rocky outcrop and just around the corner is another small bay that leads onto a break wall which is popular with local fisherman but is rarely ever crowded. From the break wall you can see the incredibly beautiful Sanctuary of Truth which is an old Thai temple made entirely of teak wood. If you have never seen the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya, do yourself a favor and check it out. I am sure you will never have seen a temple in Thailand or anywhere else in the world quite like it.
If you are coming to Pattaya for a holiday and want to enjoy the beach but escape the tourist crowds and the noise at busy Pattaya Beach, check out Wong Amat Beach Pattaya since it is just around the corner from the main beach, you can even walk there from Beach road.
